Igor Jagić alias Igor Jagych, fashion designer, costume designer, fashion journalist, and stylist, was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1989. He studied industrial design.
While studying, he began his modeling career. As a model, he collaborated with many renowned designers and brands from the territory of the Balkans. His photos were published in magazines such as Vogue UK, Vogue China, and Vogue Italy.
During his modeling career, he starts working as a stylist, where he immediately establishes collaboration with celebrities. The most prominent projects he worked on are the International Film Festival in Belgrade – FEST 2016 and 2017, the cover page and the main editorial of the Serbian magazine “Lepa i Srećna” with the worldwide famous Serbian actress Branka Katić, official stylist for TV show “Izaberi planetu” broadcasted 2021 at RTS 3 Serbia’s national channel and many more.
In 2018 he was called to work in fashion publishing and became a member of the ELLE fashion magazine for Serbia in the position of fashion assistant; where he worked on a large number of editorials, editing fashion pages, writing articles, etc.
The same year, Igor also started to work for the magazine Men’s Health Serbia in the position of fashion and editorial assistant, where he wrote articles and edited fashion pages. He worked for Men’s Health Serbia until the very end, till the last issue in 2020.
Igor’s passion for culture, opera, and theatre, turned into very successful projects on which he worked as a costume designer mostly for contemporary dance performances. Prominent projects he worked on are the opera “Bluebeard’s Castle” by Béla Bartók – 2018, the opening season of Serbia’s most prestigious national cultural institution Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the short film “Priority” in 2016, contemporary dance performance – the adaptation of Thomas Mann’s “Magic Mountain”, which had even two premieres in Theatre Vuk, Belgrade Serbia, and Slovenia Velenje in 2019, costume design for the special event of the eminent cultural institution Little Theatre “Duško Radović” in 2020 under the auspices of HRH Princess Katarina Karadjordjević, contemporary dance performance “Marko” in 2020, contemporary dance performance “Korak kameni” as part of Balkan Dance Project in 2021 and many other successful projects.
In 2018, he founded his fashion line IGOR JAGYCH, which shows progress every year. Every season, new collections, fashion shows, presentations, and exhibitions tell the story of Igor’s very refined aesthetic, which is reserved for lovers of good taste. Until now, his work has been published in the magazines ELLE Serbia, Hapers Bazaar Serbia, Buro 247, Politikin Bazar, Gloria Magazine, Art of Portrait, and many other print, digital, and TV media. In 2024. Igor for the first time presented his work in another country with his resort 2025 collection which was shown in Ulcinj, Montenegro at “Sunset Fashion” event.
